But, of course, no one does blue and white quite like Mother Nature. Wherever you are today, wishing you blue and white skies–and, if you’re really, really lucky, blue water too!

Well, a very, very sophisticated Spring Break!

Nothing says “beach” like a gorgeous natural fiber rug. And a roaring fire makes this beach house perfect for year round relaxation and fun.

Every part of this house is clean, crisp and has the feeling of a chic escape.

Nothing adds a casual, put-your-sandy-feet-up feel quite like a slipcover. It makes for easy clean up at the end of the season too!

This sleek countertop is reminiscent of the sand outside the door. A recessed sink makes cleaning a breeze–and entertaining a cinch!

Speaking of entertaining… This is such a well-stocked bar! Everyone needs simple, beautiful barware.

Open shelving lends to the perfectly undone vibe of the beach house. Earth tones are a perfect fit.

Wood paneling is a necessity for a beach house! It juxtaposes beautifully with this fabulous tub and creates a totally custom look.

Summer Chic with the Annie Selke Companies!

15DesignChic

Good morning, chic friends! We hope you are having a fabulous day. We know we are! We had the distinct pleasure this week of working with one of our favorite, favorite, favorite go-tos for style: The Annie Selke Companies! If that name doesn’t ring a bell, it’s probably because you’re more familiar with the divisions of the Annie Selke brand. Pine Cone Hill’s lusciously chic bedding. Dash and Albert’s fun and classic rugs. Fresh American’s charming table linens, pillows, pet accessories and poufs… We’ve swooned over the products for years and put them in our own homes, which is why we were so thrilled to get to design a room using all products from Annie Selke’s brands. It was so much fun!

As guest stylists, we were, at first, completely overwhelmed by the choices. What direction to go? What fabulous pieces to pick? But, you know us. It’s summer. We love the beach. And so, we decided to create a room that would be beautifully beach chic, that would embrace all we loved about summer, be a chicly soothing retreat. Natural fibers were a, well, natural choice. The neutral tone, the texture, the chunky weave. This rug was a perfect anchor to the room and the pouf a great accessory.

Water blues are some of our favorites anywhere really but almost seem like a requirement at the beach. And the textures on these pillows? Too good to pass up. They add so much interest while keeping the colors serene and calming. Crisp white bedding is always chic, and easy to clean between guests. But we had to have a touch of whimsy. We think these fun sheets did the trick nicely!

So how did we do? What do you think? Does this room feel like summer to you?

For more inspiration, make sure to check out Annie’s Blog, Fresh American Style. It’s full of tips, tricks and photos to brighten every day! Want to recreate this summer-chic look? Annie is giving one lucky reader a Paintbrush sheet set from Pine Cone Hill on the Fresh American blog—valued at $298! Contest ends on Thursday, June 18 at 11:59 p.m. EST.  View the full details.

(We didn’t want to tell you because we wanted to win, but… It’s just a testament to how much we love y’all!)

Thanks for visiting us today!
