We know you all know the lovely Lauren Liess of the fabulous Pure Style Home. (She is one of our daily must-reads!) If you didn’t catch her amazing home in Domino (yet another must-read!) here’s your chance!

We just love Lauren’s aesthetic and design philosophy, mostly because she shuns perfection in favor of authenticity–which, as we all know, is what living in style is all about!

We love basically everything about this space. The carpet, the banquette, that unbelievable leather chair… But, most of all, we just  appreciate the blocks at the breakfast table.

We are sure that Lauren’s family spends loads of time lounging in this room. Bookcases can be tricky, but, when they’re filled with all of your family’s favorites, they can’t help but look great.

Some kitchens run the risk of looking a little uninspired. But Liess’ kitchen is certainly not one of them!

Every detail is completely customized to reflect the personalities and needs of this family. The island is our favorite part!

A bold zebra hide is a perfect, durable accent for underneath a dining table. It’s easy to clean, looks even better with wear and is super chic.

Open shelving is pretty and practical when it houses glassware like this.

This combination of raw wood ceilings, a modern table and slipcovered chairs, offers the ultimate recipe for modern elegant dining.

Converting an antique chest into a stylish bath fixture gives a bathroom a one-of-a-kind look. Plus the drawers make for great storage! We know we probably don’t have to tell you but we’re crazy about that subway tile with the gray grout too!

Gallery walls are one of our favorite things, especially when they offer a bit of that collage feel. We love the idea of waking up to prints and pictures that we love every morning.

We hope you’ve enjoyed today’s house tour and a peek into the life of one of Southern Living‘s Most Stylish Southerners! Lauren likes it when homes tell a story and we think you’ll agree that hers definitely hits that mark.

Thank you, as always, for making Design Chic a part of your day. We love it when you stop by!
