In the wake of Earth Day, it seems like the perfect time to go green!
Yes, of course, we all need to turn off the lights, take out the recycling and reduce our consumption. But how about turning a daily reminder into a fabulous decorating idea?
We’ve always loved green in our gardens. Fresh blooms and crisp leaves–hydrangeas like these are our absolute favorite garden goodies.
But, we’ll admit, we’ve been a little late to the green interior party. And these pictures make us wonder why! Green is such a refreshing, uplifting shade for any room.
Gardens bursting with life always fuel our creativity, so we weren’t terribly surprised to learn that green is one of the best colors for spurring concentration and great ideas. It’s the ideal color for an office!
Kitchens need to be fresh and fun, and we can’t think of many better ways to add a hint of green than with plants. Not only do they look great, but they also clean the air! Amazing!
Oh my goodness, we guess when it comes to green you really can have it all-recipes even look better with hint of green! (I’m not 100% sure what this is, but I am 1000% sure I wish I was eating it right now!)
Green from the garden really is the best kind. So this seems like a good time to tell all of you: Our garden is growing this year! We have real, live heads of lettuce and carrots and the zucchini and squash plants are lush and thriving and ready to produce any minute. It’s amazing what happens when you read the planting instructions! (Although, little Will did greet me with his Mickey gardening gloves and spade this morning and tell me he was ready to “dig his garden”… Yikes!)
Anyway… the hint of green in this kitchen adds so much pizazz and personality. We love the fresh and living tied together with upholstery and accessories.
Aren’t these chairs the coolest?!
Speaking of cool, could artichokes be any cooler? They are seriously one of our favorite bowl fillers and accents for adding the unusual to a flower arrangements.
We can’t decide what’s more fabulous, the curtain fabric or these chairs. Are you a fan of green in decor?
Thanks a million for dropping by today. We always love seeing you!
