Happy Halloween, friends! We hope you’re ready for dressing up and Trick or Treating! I’m just crossing my fingers that between now and tonight Will doesn’t change his mind about his costume again… As of now, we’re on go for fireman. But we have doctor and pirate in reserve just in case!
It seems sort of amazing, but Halloween feels like, for me, the gateway to the holidays!
Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away… And Christmas is right around the corner! By the time you pick the perfect picture and the best card, it really is time to start thinking about how you’re going to send holiday greetings to friends and family.
Minted’s amazingly gorgeous line of holiday cards has us thinking in that direction. We are suckers for gold foil. No doubt about it. And so many of these fabulous cards have real gold foil — and envelopes with the matching foil inserts. They add so much sophistication.
But, then again, red is such a classic way to wish someone a Merry Christmas. And, since we’re all wearing simple white (and white and khaki for the boys) red would a great way to spice things up.
This is one of my favorites. It’s so beautiful! But… I hate not to take advantage of the priceless three-year-old photos.
This is another adorable option for the no-photo card. Simple yet artistic, and we love that color scheme!
You know we can’t get enough white. This card makes a simple statement a would complement our beach photo shoot well.
Gold foil + white + looks great with water pictures = LOVE!
This is a precious, whimsical card, but we were merry and bright last year, so… I mean, we’re still merry and bright. But we might want a new catch phrase!
I tend to lean toward cards where the picture fills up the entire space and then has the writing on top. So this card is definitely a contender.
Do you send holiday cards? If so, what are you thinking about sending this year? Do you do photos?
So many choices… So little time! Can you believe it will be here in less than two months?? Time flies when you’re–well–merry and bright!
Happy Halloween, friends!
