We’ll be honest. We didn’t used to equate Shutterfly with home décor. Fabulous photo books? Of course. Great prints in a hurry? Definitely. But art to hang on our walls and serving trays for wedding gifts and personalized pillows for our porches? Nope. They weren’t on the forefront of our minds. But now all of that has changed!

Little Will’s bedroom in Beaufort has always been a bit lacking in the art department. Does that ever happen to you? You’re going one hundred miles an hour through a home décor project and you finally just lose your momentum? So when we had the chance to partner with Shutterfly to display some of their fabulous new products, we jumped at the chance!

This fantastic sail piece was just a photo. Just a simple photograph of a sail that Shutterfly printed for us on metal! Is that the coolest thing ever? And especially for a little boy’s room?

The whole space has a bit of a nautical feel, as you can see, so the sail was the perfect photo. But the metal adds this industrial edge that makes the entire project feel so incredibly unique.

This is Will’s buddy, Rufus the rabbit. He hangs out on the bed beside this amazing new sailboat. Sometimes he gets to go boating, so we’re sure he likes this very much!

But the metal obsession didn’t stop with just the sails. It moved over into old family photos too. This one is a special one that I got for my hubby because this hand gesture is of how BIG of a fish they caught earlier that day. We think maybe men are born with the innate knowledge that stretching the truth about the size of the fish you caught is completely necessary.

The metal photos come with easy hangers on the back, and I adore this one because you can set it up in the kitchen, right by the sink, and there’s no worry of ruining it.

And we love this metal for the beach because, even protected in frames, moisture can so easily get between the glass and picture and cause bubbling or staining, ruining the photos. We’re kind of obsessed!
