Coastal Living has long been one of the magazines that we sometimes buy twice. We say twice because, while we subscribe, upon occasion, the magazine hits the stands before it hits our mailboxes. So, of course, in that case, we have to buy it twice.
So, when one of our favorite magazines announced that it was opening the doors of its second showhouse, we jumped at the chance to share it. So, if you can’t make it to Cinnamon Shore in Mustang Island, just off the coast of Corpus Christi, no worries. You can feel like you did anyway!
Serene yet whimsical and colorful, we think that Houston-based designer Bailey McCarthy, nailed the decor.
Kissling Architecture dreamed up a perfect escape, and Premier Coastal Homes/Waggoner Contracting brought it to life.
Love, love, love, love. There’s nothing else to say! Except for maybe that this would have been a super handy bathroom to have while our son was potty training…
Such a great take on a bunk bed. Perfect for year-round living!
And, of course, the nothing beats the real thing! The storage in these is so clever.
The feel of this room is fabulous. A little bit vintage. The only think that would make it better is if Dear Carolina was at the foot of the bed!
We’ve never seen shower doors like these, and we love, love, love them! Especially on the coast, those solid glass doors are so, so hard to clean. This is a great compromise, and so chic!
A blue and white stripe is the ultimate in coastal chic, fun yet sophisticated.
We’ve long been fans of these fabulous hanging swings, but this one takes the cake! Deep enough for lounging, we know that everyone in the house would be fighting over this spot all the time!
The exterior color of this home is spot-on, and these chaises are so adorable. Have you ever seen anything so cute?
Porches are, as you know, our favorite parts of a home. This one can’t be beat! We think Coastal Living has done it again! What do you think?
