We are so excited to be having a long weekend together at the beach that has spilled over into this beautiful Monday. The amazing fall weather, clear and crisp with just a touch of cold creeping in, always reminds us of New England. (Although we bet it’s a little chillier there than here in NC!)

So it seems like the perfect day to take a tour of a fabulous Nantucket home. We can just feel that crisp clean air pouring through this open door–and imagine an incredible day of sitting by that roaring fire.

The clean-lines and no-fuss approach to decor in this house makes it exactly what a home should be. Don’t the pillows just make the space?

Wicker dining chairs are a great blend of comfortable and coastal. This is the perfect space for brunching with the fresh air coming through the open windows.

This kitchen is so elegant in its simplicity, the perfect balance of form and function, while letting the beautiful landscape take center stage.

Talk about a view to wake up to! Touches of blue feel so soothing to us, mirroring the sky and sea just beyond the door.

The sitting area is the ideal transition between sleeping and waking, a place to curl up with the first cup of coffee of the day and watch the clouds roll by.

Rooms with sloped ceilings are always so charming. Everything about this bathroom is refined and will serve the homeowners well for years to come.

Black and white abstract art is a welcome touch in any space, from the modern to the very traditional. That window seat is amazing!

One of our favorite things about this Nantucket getaway is that each room has its own unique feel.

Now this is an office. It would be hard not to feel inspired in this gorgeous room, with the even more gorgeous view!

But, without a doubt, lying by this pool in the amazing chaises would be one of the best parts of this home. With a yard as lushly manicured as this one, who would ever want to leave?
