Alex and Cynthia Rice know good taste.
The owners of Old Seagrove Homes, a build-and-design firm in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, the fourth-generation builder and critically acclaimed artist-turned-interior designer came together to create a full-service home company.
We’d say it was a match made in heaven.
While the couple has built and designed homes all over the southeast, they have a particular passion for the Florida Beaches of Hwy 30A. (Who wouldn’t, really?)
As we all know, coastal homes can get a bit kitschy.
But the Rice team is wonderful at capturing the relaxed feel and vibe that living by the shore can lend without being too beachy.
And creating beautiful bars for entertaining on a whim–because what else is a coastal home for?
Chic and comfortable rooms that are pretty yet livable seem to be this team’s hallmark.
Well-planned architectural details and charming decorative touches combine to create the stuff that dream homes are made of.
What more could you ask for from a beautiful beach house?
We hope you have enjoyed the work of Old Seagrove Homes as much as we have–and are savoring these last, sweet days of summer. Thanks for stopping by Design Chic today. We always love it when you do!
What Segreto Finishes is saying about Slightly South of Simple:
“Her first two books were fun, heartfelt, and sentimental. The kind you stay up all night to finish and think about for weeks. Well this one is remarkably just as good…As the mother of three, I was uplifted, charmed, challenged, and sad to come to the last page of this insightful and delightful story.”–Leslie, Segreto Finishes
