Good morning, chic readers! We hope you are having a fabulous Thursday. We are getting ready for Halloween and trick or treating and can’t wait to be able to carve our pumpkins!
Even if orange and black isn’t your favorite color combo, there are so many fun ways to spruce your home for fall–starting with the exterior and the landscape.
New, seasonal flowers, fresh mulch or pine straw and giving the bushes a good prune can make a world of difference in a home’s exterior and curb appeal.
We don’t know about you, but we love painted, wood houses.
On a home that’s a throwback to a simpler time or a fresh, new facade, a pretty painted exterior is a forever favorite.
In a pretty pastel,
A bold and vibrant shade,
Or a simple neutral,
Exterior paint sets the tone for what’s to come in a big, big way.
The problem with painted wood houses? Well, they have to be painted. A lot. Especially when they’re on the water. In fact, I’m pretty sure we’re always painting ours on some side and when that one’s done it’s time to do the next one!
But oh, it’s so worth it. There is nothing quite like the charm of a painted wood house!
We absolutely adore the look of these gorgeous flowers growing up the side of this painted facade. It’s the perfect fresh complement to make any home ready for fall!
Are you a painted house lover?
