It has become almost like a holiday, hasn’t it? The anticipation. The excitement. The either total agreement or complete disgust…
We’ll be honest: We don’t always love Pantone’s Color of the Year. But that would be kind of impossible, right? Everyone can’t like every color in just the same way we can’t embrace every single fashion or design trend.
We don’t know about y’all, but the announcement of 2020’s Pantone Color of the Year as Classic Blue was a big, huge thrill to us. And we feel pretty confident that it will lead to other great 2020 trends too.
We’re pretty sure that blue and white is about as timeless a combination as you can possibly get. And it simply tends to lend itself to other wonderful combinations.
Like a mix of antique and new,
Or a hint of something fresh and green,
A display of family heirlooms mixed with more modern pieces.
And a sense of pulling the outside in, especially when it pertains to sea or sky.
In sweet stripes,
Or bold solids,
And, most especially in Mother Nature, it’s one color we simply can’t get enough of! Are you happy that blue is the color of the year?

More About Feels Like Falling…
From “the next major voice in Southern fiction” (Elin Hilderbrand) and the bestselling author of the Peachtree Bluff series comes an odd couple tale of friendship that asks just how much our past choices define our happiness.
In her warmest, wittiest, and wisest novel yet, Kristy Woodson Harvey delivers a discerning portrait of modern womanhood through two vastly different lenses. Feels Like Falling is a beach bag essential for Harvey fans—and for a new generation of readers.
