If you’re looking for a little inspiration today, you’ve come to the right place! We are so, so excited to share the gorgeous work and fabulous collection of good friend, fellow UNC grad and ridiculously talented artist Laura Park of Laura Park Designs. We have long swooned over her art, but her new textile, apparel and accessory collections are so stunning that now we have one more reason to stalk her on Instagram

We knew they were beautiful in pictures, but the first time we saw Laura’s textiles in person at High Point Market, they stopped us dead in our tracks. They are too beautiful for words. One of her beyond gorgeous rugs was the first thing I got when we moved back into our house after the hurricane, and it makes me happy every, single day. Good art can do that, you know. If you could use a little happy (Couldn’t we all right now?!), take a peek at this fabulous collection–and treat yourself. You deserve it!

Beautiful, right? I seriously have a Laura Park wishlist as long as my arm for when our addition gets finished. Wallpaper for my office, bedding for the new bedroom, a floor cloth for my bathroom, and those plates?! Those are a right-now must have. Let us know what’s on your Laura Park wishlist too!

Looking for the perfect weekend read?  I would love it if you would pick up Feels Like Falling!

More About Feels Like Falling:

It’s summertime on the North Carolina coast and the livin’ is easy.

Unless, that is, you’ve just lost your mother to cancer, your sister to her extremist husband, and your husband to his executive assistant. Meet Gray Howard. Right when Gray could use a serious infusion of good karma in her life, she inadvertently gets a stranger, Diana Harrington, fired from her job at the local pharmacy.

Diana Harrington’s summer isn’t off to the greatest start either: Hours before losing her job, she broke up with her boyfriend and moved out of their shared house with only a worn-out Impala for a bed. Lucky for her, Gray has an empty guest house and a very guilty conscience.

With Gray’s kindness, Diana’s tide begins to turn. But when her first love returns, every secret from her past seems to resurface all at once. And, as Gray begins to blaze a new trail, she discovers, with Diana’s help, that what she envisioned as her perfect life may not be what she wants at all.

In her warmest, wisest novel yet, Kristy Woodson Harvey delivers a discerning portrait of modern womanhood through two vastly different lenses. Feels Like Falling is a beach bag essential for Harvey fans—and for a new generation of readers.
