First things first: The winner of the Rejuvenation $100 gift card giveaway is… Drumroll please… Jessie from Mix and Chic! Yay! We can’t wait to see what you pick, Jessie!
Now, onto showers. We’ve reached that point in the remodel of the Beaufort house where all those last, little details that are oh, so important, are driving us crazy!
Case in point: The shower enclosures. Who knew there were so many options? Rods, doors, framed, frameless… And if you go with glass, what hardware to pick? How thick should the glass be?

But, at the end of the day, frameless shower doors are undeniably more modern, and, in a place where you want to be able to focus on the view, the more glass the better! Especially in our upstairs master, one of the best parts about the bathroom is that it overlooks the water. Putting a glass shower door in there is a no brainer. It’s like bathing outdoors but without the mosquitoes!

I’m not sure we realized how much variation there could actually be in something as simple sounding as a glass shower enclosure. We were just thinking of something as simple as possible. You know, frameless glass, silver hinges, silver handle.
And there’s definitely something to be said for incorporating that touch of black.
Talk about fancy shower light! Now this is what we’re talking about… Imagine being able to open the window in your shower! This, obviously would only work if you have trees for neighbors, which definitely isn’t our situation. But it’s a good thought for a future farm shower!
Good morning, chic readers! We hope you are having a great day. With Fourth of July right around the corner, it’s time for sandy feel, pool time and plenty of guests. All we know is that our showers are getting ready to work over time!
We do some of our best thinking in the shower. We don’t know if it’s the warm water or the quiet or the lack of multi-tasking but we always get the best ideas in there. But that’s just the beginning.
The shower is one of those places where function is really important. But when it can be this beautiful too, then the shower can quickly become a favorite spot in the house! Isn’t this shower door amazing?
A rain shower head is so calming and perfect for refreshing skin after a long day of fun in the sun. It can turn a simple shower into a spa-like experience! And who couldn’t use more of that?
Handheld shower heads are our new go-to, simply because they make cleaning the shower and bathtub an absolute breeze. With showers getting bigger and tilework more intricate, an easier clean is a must! Nothing makes it easier to reach those far-off shower corners where grime can accumulate.
This rustic bathroom ceiling juxtaposes beautifully with the marble tile to create a one-of-a-kind experience that is utterly chic.
From simple tile to luxurious marble, there’s the right shower for any decor and feel. And a garden seat is one of our favorite spots for stacking towels.
We love the chair in here and the extra storage under the sinks and basket for putting spare towels is a bonus! There never seem to be enough towels!
Marble tile in a herringbone pattern makes the shower fun and a little bit different, while a soaking tub is perfect for unwinding after a long day.
We used a simple subway tile in Little Will’s shower with a soft gray grout and love it! The color makes it easier to clean and in an old house it’s simple yet functional. The stool is his new favorite thing. Not only is it useful, but the teak is also beautiful and water resistant, which is a must in a bathroom.
But there’s no reason to stick to just one material. Mixing and matching for a totally custom look is so much fun.
