Monday Musings: Bar Cart Styling

Worlds Away
Good morning, friends! We hope you all had an amazing weekend. We had a great time at the High Point Furniture Market. It’s always fun to see what’s new! One of our favorite vendors is always Worlds Away. At October’s market, we picked this fabulous Worlds Away bar cart for the Beaufort house. We think it’s going to go in the dining room, but the entrance hall is also a possibility.
The Doodle House
We think they’re beautiful no matter how you style them, but, for our purposes, our bar cart is going to be — well — a bar!

We like the type of set up where the glasses are included, so everyone can sip in style with no trips to the kitchen!

Having a cutting board right on the bar cart is genius! No cocktail — or Perrier — is complete without a fresh squeeze of lemon or lime!
Timeout Chicago
We’d never thought of using magazines as part of our bar cart decor. National Geographic makes a great conversation starter too!

One of the things we saw everywhere at market were vases with a few banana leaves. We love the look on a table. Why not a bar cart?

These beautiful accessories complement the main event.

Color coordinating the bar is beautiful, but we like to be able to serve anyone his or her favorite drink at a moment’s notice!

There’s nothing that makes a room like the perfect lighting. Adding a lamp to a bar cart really makes things shine!

A gorgeous ice bucket is a bar cart essential.

Pink and Gold and White…love!

Country Living Magazine
Some color combinations we simply can’t get enough of. We smatter them all over our houses, wear them as much as we can… Pink and gold is one of our favorite combinations, and, while Mom has this fabulous duo in her decor, I don’t have one stitch of pink in my entire house. (Well, okay, the coral in the sunroom is a bit on the pinkish side, but no pink.) These boys must be taking over!

A bit of blush, a hint of hot, you can combine gold with any pink you’ve got! Sorry for the rhyme… I blame a little too much Sandra Boynton before bed?

Blush is even lovelier with a little shimmer.
everything fab
Mom picked this pic special for me… What can I say? Bubbly makes everything better!
this is fabulous
Can’t you just picture this totally together woman? I spent all day organizing my bathroom, but, now that I see this, I realize there’s more to be done!

Pink and gold: Good enough to eat!

So there’s no actual gold in this one. But  those priceless words of wisdom are worth more than their weight in it. We hope, wherever you are this Monday morning, you bloom, bloom, bloom. If you need a little help, just ask our friends pink and gold!
