New York, New York!

Start spreading the news… We had the most amazing time in NYC last weekend and checked off our Christmas lists once and for all! The shopping is always great, of course, but nothing beats the over-the-top holiday decor. Have you ever seen anything like this splenor at Henri Bendel ?

Oh my goodness… It’s an empty display at Harry Winston! Will must have gotten it all for me 🙂

I’ve been looking for the perfect “animal bracelet” for years. Do you think this one from Bulgari is over the top?
We’d like a whole flock of these luscious peacocks as a part of our Christmas decor. All of the windows are amazing, but the ones at Bergdorf are always our favorite…

Sometimes we feel like we’re in the circus, but this poor woman really is… Maybe if we get little Will a puppy for Christmas she can train him too! We hope you are all having a great week and, admidst the chaos, are able to enjoy this wonderful holiday season!

When you’re doing your holiday shopping, don’t forget to check out Jamie Shop for all the “Nice” boys and girls on your list! And maybe pick up a little something for yourself… Use the code DESIGNCHIC2012 for up to $500 free shipping!

One Fine Stay

 East 96th Street, NYC

We have been planning our annual NYC trip to see the windows and do a little Christmas shopping. FAO Schwartz, anyone?

East 96th Street

With a one-year-old and four adults, we thought it would be so nice to stay in a great apartment with room to run around and a kitchen to prepare little meals.

But, after months of searching and not being able to find anywhere that looked all that great, we resigned ourselves to the fact that we needed to book our hotel rooms.

After finally booking two non-cancellable rooms, we came across One Fine Stay.

 West 14th Street, NYC
Their NYC and London apartment rentals are so fabulous we thought we’d pass it along to you in case you’re planning a trip and looking for a little more space… or a real city-life experience!
Albert Hall Mansions
It has been quite some time since we’ve been to London, but these fabulous flats make us want to plan a trip.
Albert Hall Mansions
We’d feel right at home in this well-appointed kitchen.
Earls Court Garden, London
You’d be hard-pressed to find this kind of charm at a hotel.
Glebe Place
We could enjoy quite the soak in this tub!
Arundel Square, London
What a chic space to stay awhile!

We hope your weekend is just this sweet whether you’re home or traveling!
