Did you know that we love organization? Did the fact that we post about it all the time give it away…? It goes without saying that the spaces we post are incredible and over-the-top and gorgeous. But, in addition to all of that, they’re so sparkling and clean and organized!
We don’t know about you, but we’re needing a little spring cleaning inspiration! And I need a reminder of how much I adore those beautiful, full, straight jars… not a package or box or piece of junk in the bunch!
Storage is great, but, let’s face it, it isn’t always chic. That’s why we literally can’t get enough baskets. From laundry to files to those odds and ends that always seem to be cluttering the countertop, there’s a basket for absolutely every need and every style room. Here’s to a (chicly!) organized 2014!
We hope you’re having a wonderful weekend, friends!
You can always tell when we’re on an organizing kick… Because our thoughts immediately turn toward storage! How to organize those storage spaces, and, yes, how to get more of it!
RH Baby and Child We can always get excited about great storage. But when that storage is also a piece of gorgeous furniture, all the better! All the compartments in this armoire are so perfect for keeping all of baby’s things nice and neat.
Toronto Interior Design Group Beautiful door fronts that keep clutter hidden are always welcome in our rooms. (Will has that Blabla stuffed animal — Cloud — in blue! We have a lot of Clouds to avoid leaving-him-at-the-restaurant disasters…)
My Home Ideas One of our biggest pet peeves in our own homes is the endless cords from the TV, sound system, TiVo, etc.
Tammy Shaw A few minor adjustments to the back of your favorite armoire and… voila! What cords?
Decorpad Plus, we all know that TV has its place in a home. But it’s so much better when you don’t have to be reminded of it all the time!
Elizabeth Kimberly Design These stunning built-ins are storage magic– and make incredible use of what can be a dead space beside the bed. We love that these can be closets, desks, vanities… Anything a girl needs, all in one!
Hammersmith If you’re like us, the closet is basically where you start and end your day. We think it sets the tone. And who wants their tone to be messy, crowded and dark?
Linda McDougald Design Talk about a custom look! Building a favorite antique piece into the closet scheme is brilliant — and beautiful!
pinterest Things you love make any occasion special. It’s nice to have an equally lovely place to store all those treasures until it’s time to use them.
We hope you have a terrific Tuesday. Thanks for inviting us into your home today!

O’Brien Harris I spent my afternoon yesterday cleaning out closets. And man, oh man, did it feel good! When you’re as… um… organizationally challenged as I am, you have to do Spring and Fall cleaning. And maybe a few other times along the way. I literally feel like I lost ten pounds — no diet necessary! When I get on a spree like this, there’s no stopping me! I’m looking for a little inspiration to get my kitchen back tip top shape… We hope it inspires you to a little kitchen organization of your own!
Hands down, my favorite kitchen organizational essential is my hermetic glass jars. Opening the door and seeing row after row of gorgeous, clean, streamlined glass is wonderful! And, as a bonus, it’s a great a great way to eat clean. Who wants to cram that perfect pantry full of cookies when all those beans and grains look so very lovely! (Okay, there’s usually a glass jar of a cookie or two too…)
Organizing is like dressing. If you don’t have a great foundation, it’s over before it began. That’s why great shelving is totally crucial to a perfectly organized kitchen. (And it’s ALL 25% off at the Container Store… I literally am in love with that place!)
Artickoke, ltd Drawers with custom organization are phenomenal. But, if you’re like us, the world was not that kind to you. We think our bamboo cutlery trays and drawer organizers, with all those little customizable compartments are pretty close to the real thing. There’s nothing like opening that gorgeously organized drawer.
We don’t know about you, but we absolutely adore huge drawers for organizing absolutely everything. Wonderful!
Now this is a coffee station. For those of us who don’t have a massive, built-in espresso machine, there are always other options… Since we are sans gorgeous coffee cabinet, we got sick of big coffee makers taking up valuable counter space. Enter: Bialetti (like those pretty silver coffee makers in the cabinet.) Fill it with water, scoop in the coffee, pop it on the stove. And put it away when you’re finished. Plus, it’s super yummy!
A perfectly organized wine fridge is such a kitchen essential. You can be ready for a party at a moment’s notice — and the bubbly is already cold!
Matching spices are THE BEST! We think we would cook more if we had a drawer like this…
Tom Howley Separate spaces for trash and recycling is such a simple concept but so incredibly useful… especially for the person taking out the trash!
Wow! Talk about an organized refrigerator! We would adore having all of our drinks separate from our food.
This recessed space is one of the best kitchen ideas we’ve seen yet. All the essentials are right at hand but still don’t take up valuable counter space.
What a fantastic use of those awkward corner spaces! We’re feeling more organized already. How about you?
Thanks for inviting us into your (very organized?) home today!

pinterest You start out by paring down, getting everything straight, setting up a system for keeping it that way…
pinterest And then that one night, those pants that you thought were going to be perfect make your rear end look like you spent the holidays downing one too many sprinkle cookies, you try on 100 things that you don’t have time to hang back up…
pinterest And it all falls apart!
