This weekend my best friend got married, and Mom and I had the pleasure of hosting her bridesmaid’s luncheon at Mom’s house.
We were so lucky because the weather was GORGEOUS!
The beautiful bride, of course, had a special glass.
She’s not Kate McCanless anymore! Pink is the bride’s favorite color, so we had to have some splashes.
The pink roses on the plates were perfect!
The cake was so gorgeous and, more important, so yummy!
A dainty plate for dainty ladies! Quiche, ham biscuits, asparagus with hollandaise and fruit salad.
Our precious friend Kendall Boggs had this fabulous dress painting in the same colors as the bridesmaid’s dresses, so, of course, we had to get it for Kate as a wedding present! We had more fun that we can even say at the rehearsal dinner, and, needless to say, the wedding was AMAZING! I’m sad my tour as Matron of Honor is over, but we have so many fun memories and the pictures to prove it!
In other news… Our little, baby Will is one today! I can’t believe that’s the invitation to his first birthday party!
The cake was so cute and made to match those invitations. He promptly ate the head off of that sugar giraffe, but wasn’t super interested in the cake. I think I brainwashed him with all that kale 🙂
It was another beautiful day, and we had so much fun with Will’s family and a few friends there to celebrate!
All I can say is that I’m happy it’s this year, and I’m getting ready to go for a stroll as opposed to where I was this time last year…
What little boy doesn’t want a frog full of lemonade?
A big thank you our newest sponsor Furnishly, a wonderful marketplace for vintage furniture in you own area. Check out their great finds for wherever you are!
Last but not least, thanks a million to Red Door Home for featuring us in their “Blog of the Month” series. We are big fans of Stacy and her beautiful blog and are thrilled to be included!
