There is something about the change of seasons that always makes us want a change of scenery. As the air gets that first hint of crispness and the humidity starts to fade, we immediately begin dreaming of a little place in the country, maybe in the mountains, maybe on a farm.
We imagine gathering fresh eggs and cutting lettuces for salads and sipping mint-infused iced tea in a rocking chair overlooking acres of green.
It’s all so dreamy.
So, no, we don’t have that farmhouse. But that doesn’t mean that our kitchens can’t hold all our farmhouse fantasies.
Beautiful beams, a hint of rustic charm and the sense that everything is better when it doesn’t have to be perfectly in place, help create that farmhouse feel–even if there’s nowhere to house those chickens.
Oh, and a farmhouse sink, of course.
A farmhouse sink is mandatory.
These charming kitchens are the perfect places for gathering around a table with family and friends,
Keeping close to home,
And making those fresh fall memories that only a new seasons can bring. Wishing you a few moments to savor these last days of summer!
