Beautiful homes and gorgeous landscapes can be a lovely and soothing and fabulous as can be. But, captured from the wrong angle, in the wrong light or… well… by the the wrong person, even the most amazing designs can fall flat. That’s one of the reasons that we were so enamored of Eric Piasecki Photography right from the start. He is an expert at casting every design in the right light, making everything he photographs seem in perfectly good taste. We think his work speaks for itself!
Before the turkey and the stuffing and the family fun are over, we’d love to see pictures of your beautiful tables! If you need a little inspiration, visit here. Happy Tuesday, sweet friends!
We normally post about organization on New Year’s. It seems like a great way to get a new year off to a fresh start. But, this year, we decided that maybe it makes more sense to get a jump on the organization before the holiday celebrating commences.
With a little help from our friends Julie and Margot’s new book, Remodelista: The Organized Home, we can’t wait to get started!
Who doesn’t want a closet perfectly color coordinated,
And a refrigerator so neat that you can actually see what is inside!
I was just checking out some of my kitchen cabinets, you know, the ones that were so sparse, spare and compulsively organized a few months ago… And they’re already messy again!
I mean, I’ll be honest. My drawer is never going to look like that. One pair of scissors is never going to cut it in our apple-corer, cheese-grater, pineapple-corer, every-gadget-known-to-man kitchen. But this gives me something to strive for at least!
This morning I’ll be at it again with help from Remodelista: The Organized Home, sorting and storing the strays that accumulated over the weekend. But, in the end, it will all be worth it. Because, when the clutter is gone and the lights are bright, there really isn’t a happier place than home! Wishing you a happy in Monday in — of course — your happy place!
