We all have them, those favorite places in the world that we love to return to again and again, year after year. For our family, one of those places has always been Martha’s Vineyard. We love quaint, charming places on the water with a few good shops and a few good restaurants. When it comes to those, Martha’s Vineyard is hard to beat. As if we needed anything else to love about this wonderful town, this beautiful home by Liliane Hart Interiors has just put us right over the top–and has us dreaming about a return trip! Take a peek. We think you’ll love it just as much as we do.
We hope you enjoyed this fabulous Martha’s Vineyard tour. Do you have a favorite vacation spot?

They are cruel not to have given us a closeup of that amazing cupboard behind the sofa.
And I want to know how people deal with cords for lamps when the furniture floats in the living room. I love the look, but how do they plug in the lamps?
Since we moved to the South of France, we say we live on vacation. Life is good.
We have floaty furniture in our living room, too! But when we built this house a few years ago we asked the builder to put an outlet in the floor. I kind of took a guess as to where to place it by measuring where I thought our sofas would be based on our fireplace and walls. Luckily I got it right. Our outlet is now under one of the sofas. No tripping….
Plugs in the floor would be my first choice but if that is not possible, tape your cord flat under your carpet so you only see the part coming up to the plug. Sometimes you can hide that with a strategically placed chair, basket or plant. I love furniture pulled out from the wall.
This is a beautiful house. Martha’s Vineyard is on my list of places to visit. But not in the summer. I’ve read it’s crazy busy with tourists and impossible to get into restaurants. I think to enjoy it to the utmost off-season would be preferred. Does anyone have an idea of the best time for a west coaster?
Another stunning home and a very timely post for me to read! I am traveling to Martha’s Vineyard for the first time this May and cannot wait!

I’m really attracted to the light wood combined with the all the white & pale upholstery. Easy on the eye!
