In interiors and art, fashion and landscapes, we’re huge fans of neutrals.
From a reading room that wows,
To a kitchen that shines,
A bedroom for contemplation,
To a dining room for friends,
Neutrals in decor work anywhere, any time, any place.
And, as we all know, animal prints are neutrals too! We’re swooning over this gorgeous leopard,
And loving this J. Crew popover dress in leopard dot for the ultimate in casual, comfy fall style.
Nails are always nice in neutral,
And landscapes positively wow. From the desert…
To the beach, there’s nowhere we don’t love neutrals. What about you?
Thank you so much for making Design Chic a part of your day. We love it when you stop by!

Looking for a good book to carry you into fall? I’d love it if you checked out one of mine: Dear Carolina, Lies and Other Acts of Love, The Peachtree Bluff Series (Slightly South of Simple, The Secret to Southern Charm, The Southern Side of Paradise) or Feels Like Falling. And I’m so excited that my seventh novel, Under the Southern Sky, will be releasing April 20, 2021 and is available for preorder now. The cover will be revealed September 23, so mark your calendar!
Good Morning Girls,
Neutrals are so easy to live in and
sophisticated and chic!

We totally agree! Happy weekend, Patty!
Just wanted to let you two know how much I enjoy your blog and all the updates. I follow my favorite designers, Suzanne Kasler, Mark Sikes, Summer Thornton, Kim Scodro, and others. But just added Beth Webb after looking at her interiors on one of your recent posts. Love her style.
I studied interior design years ago after I received my BS in Business. But it just became a serious hobby – still is my passion along with art and photography though.
Look forward to your emails each everyday!
Thanks for sending all the links for everything.
Thank you so much for reading, LouAnn!
