This week on Design Chic has been a big, fat Sarah Bartholomew love fest! So we thought we’d round it out with a peek inside the designer’s own gorgeous home in one of our favorite cities: Nashville!
Happy Wednesday, friends! We can’t believe that May is flying by so quickly. Today is my little guy’s end of the year picnic at school, and it’s sort of bittersweet. While I can’t wait for summer, it’s hard to believe that this is his last week of half-day preschool. Time flies! We feel like it was yesterday that we were plotting out how to decorate the nursery.
The weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer!
Doing house tours each week is always one of our favorite things! But it takes on a whole different feeling and meaning when the house is one that you know very, very well!
My friend Kate grew up here, so I spent a significant amount of time in this house. It was gorgeous before, always one of my favorites, but with a new owner and in the hands of the very talented ladies of Fisher Street Interiors it has taken on a new persona for a new owner. There used to be a piano in the corner of this living room. I spent a lot of time playing “Heart and Soul” on it!
Charm, charm, charm, charm, charm! We’d say that’s the theme of this idyllic cottage. The perfect shade of blue and those quintessential South Carolina palm trees are just the beginning. Wait until you step through the front door!
One glimpse at the amazing woodwork and fabulous architectural details, and it’s evident that Sea Island Builders is behind this creation that any family would be proud to call home.
