Good morning, readers! Are you having a good day? I am in the Holy City (Charleston, SC) for a wonderful writer’s conference. There is certainly no shortage of gorgeous homes in this town — or good food!
Even if you aren’t in Charleston this week, we thought we’d share some fabulous design eye candy with you today.
Carpenter&MacNeille is one of our favorites when it comes to good taste.
From gorgeous chef’s kitchens that would make even the worst cook want to spend more time behind the stove,
To fabulous architectural details like rustic beams that set the tone for the entire home,
Carpenter & MacNeille is masterful at creating spaces that reflect a family’s style. See more of why we love them here and here
Light, bright and beautiful, touches of wood and stone give this home a mountainous feel but still make it seem airy.
The right touches make somewhere new seem lived in and loved through time, the perfect combination of old and new.
This dog has the right idea! Window seats are some of our favorite places for resting. (And this dog looks like it was designed to go in the house!)
There’s no better combination than Carolina blue and white — especially during basketball season! Switching it up with blue trim is a fun touch.
And this tub is the most relaxing focal point we can imagine!
Sitting by the fire has never looked so good. A game table is a great way to incorporate family fun.
With an outdoor space like this, who needs to go inside at all? This space is amazing!!
In a mere 5 weeks, my debut novel, DEAR CAROLINA hits shelves! It’s the perfect Mother’s Day read, so pre-order for Spring now! Or, if you’re feeling lucky, enter to win an advance copy before you can buy from Goodreads, Reading with Robin or Jennifer Tropea O’Regan!
Beautifully done, that bathtub in teak, I have not seen that before!!
Fabulous setting by the sea!
