Good morning, readers! Are you having a good day? I am in Parma, Ohio, today, a suburb of Cleveland, preparing to speak at the Cuyahoga County Public Library.
If you are in the area, I would love to see you at 7pm this evening!
In the meantime, take a peek at the good taste of Carpenter&MacNeille Architects and Builders.
From gorgeous chef’s kitchens that would make even the worst cook want to spend more time behind the stove,
To fabulous architectural details like rustic beams that set the tone for the entire home,
Carpenter & MacNeille is masterful at creating spaces that reflect a family’s style. See more of why we love them here and here
Light, bright and beautiful, touches of wood and stone give this home a mountainous feel but still make it seem airy.
The right touches make somewhere new seem lived in and loved through time, the perfect combination of old and new.
This dog has the right idea! Window seats are some of our favorite places for resting. (And this dog looks like it was designed to go in the house!)
There’s no better combination than Carolina blue and white — especially during basketball season! Switching it up with blue trim is a fun touch.
And this tub is the most relaxing focal point we can imagine!
Sitting by the fire has never looked so good. A game table is a great way to incorporate family fun.
With an outdoor space like this, who needs to go inside at all? This space is amazing!! We think you will agree that the work of Carpenter & Macneille is in good taste. Happy Tuesday, sweet friends!

Beautiful home! Love me a window seat. There are some gorgeous homes in Ohio as portions were settled by The Connecticut Western Reserve, incorporating their New England style homes around lovely village greens. Perhaps you were able to visit some while on your book signing tour.I just love your books BTW–you are a very talented writer!
