If you aren’t near the coast, we say it’s the perfect time of year to call up your friends with beach houses and crash for a while!
In my latest novel, The Southern Side of Paradise–and in the entire Peachtree Bluff Series–my interior designer protagonist Ansley’s guesthouse gets quite the workout.
The series opens with the sisters fighting over who will live in the guesthouse. (And queen bee eldest sister Caroline proclaiming that it is hers!)
When this beautiful space caught our eye, we couldn’t help but imagine it to be similar to the gorgeous guesthouse that the Murphy girls all want to lay claim to.
Lovely and luxurious, this is just the kind of place where we would love to be guests!
The space feels homey yet streamlined, which is the best combination we know of.
And well-placed planks on the walls and ceilings add charm in droves.
Do you want to come to this gorgeous guesthouse too?

I so want Ansley to be a real person. I would just love to be her girlfriend. I know we’d have so much in common. I love her design taste that’s for sure. Kristy, you have conceived such a wonderful group of characters in this book series and I love how you continue to bring it to life, showing us your vision of what their homes look like in your mind’s eye. Just beautiful! When’s the next book coming out??
