We all have them, those favorite, go-to stores that we think of automatically when we’re looking to spruce up a little.
For us, one of those companies is Annie Selke.
Annie Selke has been an industry leader in luxury rugs, bedding and decor for 25 years–and they are celebrating an amazing 25 years with one of the greatest giveaways we’ve ever seen: A $25,000 shopping spree at Annie Selke and a trip!
The details are available on Annie Selke’s website.
So, we’re beginning to see a very long and far away light at the end of a still fairly long tunnel for getting back in the Beaufort house. (If you’re new here, Hurricane Florence had an extensive party at our house in 2018. We’ve been in various rental houses for one year and seven days, but who’s counting?)
We have rugs, in particular, on the brain. They are such a huge part of a room’s overall look and feel, the very foundation, really. They’re a great place to start when you’re stumped!
If you know anything about Bunny Williams, who has a great line for Annie Selke, you probably know that she’s all about the dogs!
Her indoor/outdoor collection is pet-friendly and oh-so-lovely.
When we think of fun striped rugs, we think of another Annie Selke brand, Dash & Albert. From the big to the teeny tiny, they’re our go-to.
But there are just so many great options! It’s hard to decide where to begin.
Y’all, for real. This Laura Park Collection is TO DIE. When we get back in our house (if ever) this rug is 100% going in my office. It is so fun and gorgeous. I’m torn between the pink and the blue, so votes are appreciated. On the one hand, it’s kind of the only place I can have pink in a house of boys, but, on the other, I’m a Tarheel… So is Laura, come to think of it!
The collection photographs beautifully, but in real life, it’s just the chicest thing you’ve ever seen. We’re obsessed. (If you didn’t gather that!) We’re on rugs today, but check out the bedding too. It’s so good.
Aren’t these the absolute cutest?
No one does outdoor rugs better than Annie Selke. The patterns are stunning and the quality and feel is so very normal, not plasticky at all.
Don’t forget to head over to Annie Selke and enter that $25,000 giveaway! And let me know in the comments if you think I should go pink or blue on that Laura Park rug. I’m so torn! Have a great day, friends!
Thanks so much for making Design Chic a part of your day. We always love seeing you here!

More About Feels Like Falling…
From “the next major voice in Southern fiction” (Elin Hilderbrand) and the bestselling author of the Peachtree Bluff series comes an odd couple tale of friendship that asks just how much our past choices define our happiness.
It’s summertime on the North Carolina coast and the livin’ is easy.
Unless, that is, you’ve just lost your mother to cancer, your sister to her evangelical husband, and your husband to his executive assistant. Meet Gray Howard. Right when Gray could use a serious infusion of good karma in her life, she inadvertently gets a stranger fired from her job at the local pharmacy.
Diana Harrington’s summer isn’t off to the greatest start either: Hours before losing her job, she broke up with her boyfriend and moved out of their shared house with only a busted Impala for a bed. Lucky for her, Gray has an empty guest house and a very guilty conscience.
With Gray’s kindness, Diana’s tide begins to turn, but when the one that got away comes back, every secret from her past seems to resurface all at once. And, as Gray begins to blaze a new trail, she discovers, with Diana’s help, that what she envisioned as her perfect life may not be what she wants at all.
In her warmest, wittiest, and wisest novel yet, Kristy Woodson Harvey delivers a discerning portrait of modern womanhood through two vastly different lenses. Feels Like Falling is a beach bag essential for Harvey fans—and for a new generation of readers.

I think you NEED the pink rug! I have been admiring the Laura rug, as well as most all the other rugs, for several weeks now. I would love to have some Annie Selke rugs in my home!! Be sure to share your photos!!
I vote pink…a chance at celebrating your femininity!
Francine
All beautiful, but I would go with the blue 🙂
The pink rug is wonderful and I raised sons, but I truly gravitate towards blue every time. Tough decision for you. 🙂
xo,
Karen
Definitely go for the pink, it is absolutely lovely!
Good Morning Girls,
So, so happy to hear it’s almost move-in day!!!!
One year and 7 days is already too long!
I look at the situation of pink or blue this way.
You have a chance to have a little pink in your life.
Every girl needs a little pink Be bold!!!!
xo
Patty
Go PINK! You can use blue everywhere and anywhere else in your home. Your new office should be your own little piece of Southern Paradise! 😉 Maybe you can still use a little blue in accessories. Whatever you choose, enjoy it!
Absolutely love them both, but I think I would go with the pink!
