Jenkins Interiors – Dallas, Texas home Wentwood
People have a lot of preconceived notions about Texas, don’t you think? Maybe more than any other state.
it’s all about big hair and barbecue and trucks and hats and cowboy boots, all of which, trust us, we are highly amenable to.
But Jenkins Interiors, among others of our designer friends, has given us a new stereotype about Texas: The homes are incredible, in no small part, of course, to these fabulous designers.
This house lives up to one stereotype in that it is nothing short of luxe.
But a laid-back luxe, which is all the better.
If you ask us, this is a major (super chic!) improvement on the dank, dark, musty wine cellar. And those butterflies? Perfection!
Beauty is all in the details and this fume hood combined with that range and those barstools… It’s eye candy at its finest.
And a pink pot is the perfect touch!
Pops of color keep this home vibrant, down to earth, and totally livable.
We love the way the pinks, blues and golds are carried throughout the color scheme.
It adds such uniformity to a large space–even the closet! (The to-die-for closet!!)
Herringbone floors are another hallmark of this stunning home.
As are gorgeous, gorgeous windows.
From a pink bathroom fit for a princess,
To a little boy’s room to dream about,
Everyone has the right beautiful space in this home.
Even the laundry!
No surprise here: The outside is as stunning as the inside. We don’t know about you, but we think Jenkins Interiors has outdone themselves in this Dallas home. And it rumors are to be believed, outdoing yourself over and over again is what Texas is all about.
Thanks so much for making Design Chic a part of you day. We always love it when you stop by!
Good Morning Girls,

That is what “a breath of spring air” must “look” like. Calm, cool & collected. franki
