Whether preserving history or creating it, our homes have a lot of legwork to do. William B. Litchfield Architectural Designs is masterful in assisting them with both.
We are big fans of his work, and this Regency-Inspired Georgian Renovation caught our eye right away.
We have learned (sometimes the hard way) that it takes exactly the right kind of architect or designer to restore a historic gem, to bring something truly special back to life. William Litchfield Designs is just the team to take on the challenge.
It’s no wonder they received the 2016 Philip Trammell Shutze Award for this stunning home. It is the perfect blend of old and new with spaces for everyone in the family.
This kitchen is, in a word, happy. Or, at least, it feels that way to us.
And we can imagine the guests gathered around this fire are happy too!
The light in this house is just spectacular, a sure sign of a great architect,
But the details truly shine. This closet is simply breathtaking, with a place for everything.
You know we’re big fans of interiors, but, in this case, we have to admit that, for us, the exterior stole the show.
Grand, gracious, elegant… These are just a few words that come to mind right off the bat.
And, taking this lovely pool into account, we think we’d also have to add calm to the list. From every angle, in every space, this home is the ideal blend of old and new. We hope you loved touring it as much as we did!
